It is a pleasure to share the closing notes of our mentors and participants of Imaguru Blockchain Hackathon that took place in October 2018 in Imaguru Madrid. More stories are coming!

Enrique Sánchez Sumozas, Entrepreneur and Innovation Business Development at Digital Emerging Technologies, Minsait

Good job to Imaguru Startup HUB in the Blockchainthon held from October 5th to 7th in Madrid, promoting the still-emergent ecosystem of the Blockchain. The know-how of my fellow mentors was tremendous. It was a pleasure to have shared the moments of mentoring and the subsequent conversations that were so disruptive about the uses and evolution of Blockchain! Congratulations to the champions with a traceability pilot of the product of the origin designation and great work to all the 30 participants.

From Minsait, and more specifically Digital Emerging Technologies, from our Blockchain department, we support these and other entrepreneurial initiatives, and we encourage you to continue working on them.

Pablo Romero Alfonso, Client Solutions Strategy at BBVA

It has been a pleasure to be of help to the teams as a mentor and be part of the jury. I was a fantastic weekend, full of ideas, entrepreneurial atmosphere and good company. I wish the best for all the teams, a huge thank you to the other mentors and congratulations to the winners. Special thanks to Tania Marinich and Anastasiya Markvarde for counting on me and thanks Imaguru Startup HUB for the Blockchain Hackathon in Madrid and Minsk this weekend! Hope there are many more!

The weekend of October 5-7 was one of hard work, inspiration, motivation and technology! It was an honor to have participated as a mentor with technology whizes as my mentors and Imaguru organizers! Very soon we will announce news about new Blockchaintons!

Salvador Casquero Algarra, Co-Founder of

Thank you very much for having me and inviting me as a mentor … and congratulations to all of Imaguru for such a magnificent event and congratulations to all the participants for the quality of the projects. We will see each other again soon.

And of course, the references of our participants:

Mercedes Jul from the BlockEnergy team (second prize), Principal Consultant Energy Economics at ABB:

We developed the blockchain project so that the communities could create their electricity market. The work we did during the hackathon exceeded our expectations because we developed our MVP and improved some functions.

Thank you very much to all! It was a pleasure to participate and we are looking forward to learning more about future events.

Santiago Chamat from the DoggieWalkie team, lawyer at Chamat Abogados:

I was very lucky to have been able to work with Imaguru developers who helped me formalize my idea and materialize the concept. I intend to make steps forward and continue with my blockchain network project for people who have to walk dogs.

Adalberto Adabe from the CellTeam team (second prize), Executive Director at Anastasis Consultoria e Treinamento em Informática:

We created an application that uses smart contracts in Ethereum to manage flight miles and airline tickets. The technological part was a challenge for us but thanks to the help of the Imaguru technological team and our mentors we learned a lot and developed a prototype that works. And of course, we had a great time! We have our code on GitHub, we have a website and we will continue with the project.

Soon we come back with the history and references of our winners!

Meanwhile we leave the video with the mentor interview.
